There’s a video on YouTube of a speech Romney gave in 1994, as a candidate for the US Senate, in which he said:
“”This is a different world than it was in the 1960s when I was growing up, when you used to have Mom at home and Dad at work. Now Mom and Dad both have to work whether they want to or not, and usually one of them has two jobs.”
73 percent of moms work outside the home. He knew it in 1994, not so much now, I guess.

I guess Romney doesn’t have a clue that it takes about 2 incomes for a family to survive nowadays.
